I've gone past caring about this issue if I'm totally honest. Pubs WILL be consigned to history, the government, breweries and pub co's are making damn sure of that.

I suspect a tax will be in the pipeline for home brewing, probably in the not too distant future either.

Up is very right on this. When the monopolies commission called time on large breweries owning pubs they had to rid themselves of them quite quickly, all the ,main pub co's where set up of the back of the breweries but were still heavily financed hence the reason why they are screwing every penny they can out of the breweries tenants and customers. To demonstrate the scale of debt M&B took out a hedge fund which went bad, it cost them £500 million. Now that has got to come from somewhere. :hmm: :hmm:

It affected my business, I have still got thousands of pounds worth of moulding bought in for a specific chain which is no longer having money spent on it.
