Hi folks,

I have been brewing and winemaking since the late 70's. Although to be honest, I fell out of love with home brewed beer in the 80's and have since concentrated on wine and cider, mostly from the basic materials. I bought an Electrim 25L bin in the 80's purely for the quantity of water it could boil. In the last few years I have rediscovered a love of beer :thumb: but only at kit form (my my haven't they improved over the years!!).

So I want to start AG/BIAB but have been tying myself in knots over information available and terminology used......
Several youtube DIY videos later I find myself not much the wiser, well not in the area I want. I understand that I can use the Electrim bin as a mash tun & boiler so would not need other equipment? (That is essential rather than preferred brewing bling) Am I correct in this assumption and does anyone have any instructions for an Electrim bin?

Heres hoping to learn from and contribute to this site

Welcome to the forum.

There are a number of BIAB brewers here but have a look at THIS to start.

Although a stove and pot is used in the guide you would use your electrim boiler instead.
