I put forward the idea of a Christmas brew, what do you recon?

It seems like my bottled Kingpin is, to quote Frisp "As flat as a witches ***" :lol:

I'll open the bottle i'd marked for myself tonight and if I concur I see no point in sending out duff beer - instead I'll send out bottles of Bog Frog, my Hobgoblin clone, it's not within keeping with the forum brew but I'm hopeful it'll be drinkable at least.

I did wonder if Kingpin would carbonate, it was so bright when I bottled it I guess there was not enough yeast suspended for a secondary fermentation in the bottle

Wez, that bottle I gave you is WELL carbonated....unlike your *** brew :lol:
You may well need to beat some of the C02 out of it with a fork
It's quite nice though...when not in lager mode :lol:

I just need to get mine in the bottles . . . Its dry hopping at the moment . . . and QC samples have proven acceptable. . . . . Time has been the problem in the last few weeks.

I've not posted my recipe in detail either although it's not a great secret. If anyone wants it they're welcome.

I'm bottling my hobgoblin attempt 'bog frog' tomorrow so will send you one this instead

My initial brew turned out to be a tad stronger than intended at 1.050, and it's also over carbed, but I'll quite happily send a couple out if anyone wants to try one, it is drinking quite well (AT yours is reserved :thumb: ).

Bottled the Bog Frog tonight and will be bottling Fledgling Pride tomorrow, so anyone who was expecting 1x bottle of King-'flatasawitchestit'-Pin' will now recieve a Bog Frog and Fledgling Pride, both way off the mark as far as the forum brew goes but should at least be carbonated

I'll look after them at room temp for a week and then post them out :thumb:

Peps what precautions should one take to send brew through the post? and doesnt it cost a shedload?

Wrap it well in a cardboard box or tube. If you stay under a kilo it will cost about £2.50 to post second class.
