I recon it's a cover up for all the **** in our food and water supplies and all the phenols in our furniture etc...that'll kill us much quicker than a few beers.
**** em I say!

I found out today that basmati rice is full of arsenic! Given my fondness for curry, that's a worry. Don't hear them banging on about that tho', putting prices up etc etc.

All's well here. BBC has lost a lot of credit with me the past decade. Seems there's always a vegan intern at the helm on their facebook site for instance. Bit sad about that.

And there's always some bod ( Schuckman or whatever ) with a bit about climate change after every weather story. See through the lie, folks.

My Mrs works as a care worker at the moment. Seems to us the worse thing for your health is living to an advanced old age. Personally I don't want to spend the last 15 years of my life not knowing who I am, repeating the same question every 2 or three minutes, ******** in a bag or being so physically screwed up that I can't even wash myself.
So yes, I will aim for my 5 a day. But not fruit and veg...

I noticed they didn't make any attempt to quantify the risk when reporting this on the BBC news last night - just the senssationalist 'booze is bad' message. They did at least have someone on to say that there is also no safe limit for driving, working, etc.
