Airlock fluids.

For my Magnum Strawberry Cider kit, I added a little bit of Bru-Clean to the air lock water to prevent vinegar infection.

Was Bru-Clean a bad choice? I'm aware that it is very much poisonous. I'm now thinking I should be putting a bit of Campden powder in instead or neat vodka for long brews... yes?

I'd get it out now mate, just in case you get some sucked in which is very easy to do with plastic FV's.

I agree!
I tried using a sterilizing solution in the air-lock for a Ginger Beer & it killed the Yeast. Never managed to clear it & threw the lot away!
Safer to use water .... you can always change it for fresh if needs must!

Well it's been brewing for 6-7 days now. I guess I'll go down and change it now. Just don't want to kill myself with Bru-Clean that's all.

I have no idea what Bru-Clean is, but even if you did get some suck-back, a couple of ml in a gallon is unlikely to make much difference to your yeasties or yourself. Even so, I'd rather use a bit of sulphite.
