Hello guys,

Arturo from Puerto Rico here, i bought some brewing equipment from someone.

This equipment has a long thin metal rod with a metal air diffuser at the end (like air roks for fish tank). it seems this rod is connected via tubes to a fish tank air pump. looks cool. It seems the guys puts in air filters in the line to prevent contamination.

Im wondering if you guys have tried this before, how long should i put this air block on my wort.

Cheers,

Arturo

PS ill be posting pics later.

Hi Arturo and welcome to the forum
Use the aerating wand after the wort has cooled, pump air into the wort for 5 minutes, but keep an eye on the amount of foam produced, you don't want it escaping from the FV
