Yes mate they where all put into a old bucket ready to go on the compost bin. Then i Remembered i didnt have a compost bin.

Well checked on the brew this morning and it still fementing like crazy. Is this normal its been 5 days since i pitched the yeast and its still got a good 3" of foam on top of the brew. Will post a picture when i finish work.

Well 5 days in the FV and still plenty of life, the SG is at 1.022.

That looks like a rather nice pancake? have you got any maple syrup for that.

What yeast did you use in the end Dave?

i ended up using the English ale yeast.

well the FG is now down to 1.014 so tonight it will be moved to a secondry f to clear and then saturday it will go into the bottle.

Just finished movig it to the secondry and couldnt resist having a small sample.All i can say is OH MY GOD Its the best beer ive ever had the pleasure to drink.
