well seeing as i survived the darkside abduction and had time and ingrediants i thought id make the most of it and brew AG#2 - choice being GW's Boddington Clone

Heres the recipe i used for 19L batch:

pale malt 2660g
crystal malt 165g
white sugar 84g

hops

whitbred 32g (boil)
fuggle 11g (last 10 mins)

irish moss (or equiv)

now time to set up the brewery ...... http://flic.kr/p/afmcK3 ... as you can see nice and simple design

all ingrediants ready http://flic.kr/p/afmcr7

90 mash was done ... doughing in time http://flic.kr/p/afioSi

and happily away ... http://flic.kr/p/afmcZ1 ... youll notice the higher temp .. i allow a little more as im using aluminium and does drop its temp quickly ... this quickly drops to the mash temp of 66c.

mash over and drain time ... http://flic.kr/p/afmdAS

and a quick sparge .. simply poured 1.7l (kettle) of boiled water which had cooled slightly over grains in bucket and left for 10 mins or so .. run off added to boil

and first hops addition during boil .. http://flic.kr/p/afmd7m sorry this aint clear ... phone kept misting over

90 min boil done and was left with 20 L @ 1038 (little over what it should be but im happy)

now fermenting away in the fv with nottingham :thumb:

edit : sorry just pic links ... they didnt appear in the post so had to ediit back to links
