Hi all,
This seems to be very popular at the mo so I decided to brew it in my Braumeister with the following profile:

10mins 55c
30 mins 63c
35 mins 72c
15 mins 78c

90 min boil.

I used Notty yeast rehydrated.
I also used the updated recipe from Alemans post.

Didn't get many photos yesterday but 20L at 16 brix is bubbling away nicely now at 20c

Good luck, biggest issue I have with mine is hops blocking the outlet and then the plate chiller .
Make sure you invest in a good hop filter or hop bags

In all honesty if you have a good 3 vessel system and are happy with that I'd save your money.

The jury is still out for me, 5 brews in and I'm still tweaking, now sparging, learning how best to use plate chiller etc etc
:hmm:

Honestly I made just as good beer with my 3 v pid controlled set up and I had the flexibility to make huge beers etc but as I say in time I may be able to do that with the Braumeister.

Biggest draw for me on it staging mash rests... What I think I am going to do is keep the 3 tier for big beers and tinkering... but have a production of reliable beer that actually includes pilsner/lager for a change from the BM :) The wife gets an eternity ring, I get a BM... sounds fine to me ;)
