I have been playing around with Martin's Bru'n water spreadsheet and I think I am ready to give it a go in practice.

I haven't got a lot of CRS left so I am thinking about going with another type of acid such as lactic. Can anybody recommend which is the preferred acid and where to buy if from.

You can get Youngs lactic acid from most home brew shops for a couple of quid.
I got some when I started using Bru'n water too. If you read the water knowledge page he explains why its better to use than CRS.

I've gone for phosphoric as it's resultant compounds aren't meant to affect the end taste as much
