Oh I love my job! I get to come across all sorts of fun things...

Just waiting for the day that I can have a tap of this bore on any of my brewing vessels...

Also came across, although didn't get a photo, a very nice water chiller/carbonation box. It has a stainless steel coil, square, about 30cm by 30cm and maybe 20cm deep. I'm thinking that its definitely 316 as the water passes through it to chill. Immersion chiller/fermentation cooler??? It also has about 20/30 JG push fit fittings.

Will post some pics when I'm back in on Monday

Indeed there are things one comes across that make you stop and ponder their re-use potential.... all in the interest of environmentally friendly re-use, honest!

Currently have my eye on a water-cooler at work. It appears that the lease company went bust and it's now homeless and intestate :hmm:

What pains me more than anything is seeing 8 tonnes of fridges and freezers coming in to the yard and being tipped out and then crushed.. All the temperature controlled fermentation chambers they could make... Painful!

On a more positive note - lots of brass fittings undamaged = very useful!
