Just said on radio4 that no, the NHS doesn't have facilities for isolating and testing plane loads of people.
Great! I hope whosever decision it was to let the plaguey buggers back, gets it first

Based on the last sentence there will be a lot of men in the UK who are at risk based on my observations on the occasions I have had to use public loos, plus the unfortunates who unwittingly shake their hand subsequentlyHand washing is more effective than hand sanitizer. Best is hand washing then hand sanitiser. Anyone who refuses to wash their hands should not work in the food industry. I hope you wash your hands after using the toilet?
Really?I think they should shut China til it's run its course..
no, but the military has
Where are you seeing that? I trust the WHO more than others. https://www.who.int/emergencies/diseases/novel-coronavirus-2019/situation-reports/Problem is all the numbers are from China and not real and even then the last ones I saw more people have died than have recovered

That's not the point. Let's pretend there were four. Facts no longer matter, anyway. There were seven buses................

Thanks for the link. But it's a silly statement from the paper, not you . The dead have finished dying but those recovering haven't finished recovering yet. Those who die were probably weak and died within a few days. As the disease is only five weeks old and recovery takes from a few weeks up to six months (as the JH doctor says), you would expect more deaths than recoveries THIS EARLY ON. The article implies that the death rate is 50% plus, which is very unlikely.I didn't say there was a high death rate just that so far more have died than recovered. 213 deaths 187 recovered https://www.plymouthherald.co.uk/news/uk-world-news/coronavirus-death-rate-higher-recovery-3798175
