And every one a winner, what more can you add when the advice is sound?

I was always taught patience is a virtue.
Many of us have to work at weekends and have very little time, although we do answer as many questions and queries as possible.

It is hardly "shameful". You asked if anyone had any other ideas, maybe they didn't and the advice you were given from the one person was the best advice going.

You don't really want all 74 viewers posting "no, I can't think of anything else" on the thread.

Oh I see. billy994 is complaining about the help.

Sorry mate, but we're just a bunch of hobby enthusiasts who offer what advice we can when we can. If that isnt good enough, I might suggest engaging some paid consultants with a clear service level agreement to provide the requisite number of replies within the required time frame.

Found it....but hang on billy, you post half way down....

any help is always good help and you have helped me out well

All the posts you got hit the spot....a stuck fermentation can be a bugger to get going, sh*t happens as Forrest Gump said. Please don't take it out on the guys & gals on the forum... :thumb:
Also you posted at 12:27pm....Bottler answered 12:35.....8 mins.

I looked at the thread in question but could not offer any answer or advice as I am a newbie myself, so I am one of the 70 odd viewers you mention, I have however learned something from the advice which was offered to you, FOR FREE, and within what I consider to be a very reasonable time. For you to suggest that the response from the forum members is "shameful" is out of order in my opinion and I can't see it boding well for a happy relationship on what I consider (in the short time I have been here) to be one of the friendliest and most helpful forums I am fortunate enough to be involved in.

The advise you were getting was sound! I could understand if you got no replies but you were engaged in a full blown conversation! What more do you want! Lols

Just thought I'd leave this here to get to improve the posts:views ratio of this thread... :thumb:

I read the thread and I knew the solution to the stuck ferment question, but I couldn't be arsed replying.

You have had some very sound advice from some experienced brewers. With posts like this you might not be so lucky next time :nono:

Then again a forum search on the subject would produce reams of responses, but that would involve a little effort on your own part wouldn't it?

like the "How to deal with a stuck ferment" guide in the "How to..." section
