Any ideas if my Coopers Mexican Cerveza can have some life breathed into it? It's been bottled just under two months now, and I'm regretting leaving it in a warm place after bottling for only 48 hours before moving the lot outside into a tree house where naturally it has been cold/cool. I opened a bottle last night without any pfffff :( and as well as being flat as a witches narwot, it tastes sweet too :? I brewed with Coopers Brew Enhancer 2 and sugared each bottle with a flat teaspoon of white sugar for carbonation.

If I brought it back into the warmth would it make a difference? :wha:

dont know if putting it somewhere warm will help it should have had some carbonation by now. Have your bottle tops leaked etc. You could try giving each bottle a gentle shake and putting back somewhere warm. Maybe time is the answer leave alone for a few more weeks.

if it is still sweet that would suggest the conditioning did to get going.
As there is super and there is bound to be yeast still in the bottles, return them to the warm and leave for a good two to three weeks.

The only thing that could have gone wrong would be if you killed your yeast; steriliser in the bottle or too high a temp.

Keeping the bottles out in the cold will only put the yeast to sleep so that should be ok.

Good luck.

Brought this back into the living room last week, tipped each bottle upside down to remix. How long should I keep it in the warm?

I would give it two weeks to wake the yeast up and for it to do its job. It won't hurt it.

had the same problem myself but dont think i primed with enough sugar so put 10g more in each 2ltr bottle its now been in the warm for 1 week and i am going to give it another week and see how it goes but i have noticed a few post about flat cerveza on here dont know if it need alot of priming or just needs more time than most other brews hopefully somebody who has done a few will step in and give us a run down
