I have just been and the shelves still have quite a lot of stock at half price, i was getting low on a few things like Pectolase and Vinclear and i have been meaning to try their "handy airlocks" for a while so its a great saving, i also picked up a Black cherry and a Strawberry 6 bottle kit for £4 each, as cheap as a WOW but i imagine a lot better tasting.

I went yesterday morning, and they were still fully stocked, or at least were before I took the last Wherry! Have got a few things that I'd been thinking about trying, e.g some wine and fruit cider, as well as enough kits to get me stocked up for Christmas! Can't complain at £8 for a 2 can golden ale kit. Looking forward to brewing them already!

I haven't got 2 spare DJ's for a week as i am clearing two WOW's and all my others are in use, looking forward to trying these kits as a i remember reading they are a decent kit made for Wilkinsons not their own brew, i am sure someone will be along to tell us who makes it.

Im pretty sure its muntons who supply wilko. Ive tried their cerveza and pilsner which are quite good but ive been told the 2 can kits, especially the golden ale are very good. Ive picked myself up a couple in the sale so looking forward to starting them

It seems the sale ends today, so I filled my rucksack with goodies for the second time, including a Muntons premium 30 bottle chardonnay kit for £18. Had I thought it out, I could have parked my car at the back and cleared their entire stock.
At the checkout, the woman behind me was scrutinising my haul. While the cashier wrestled with unresponsive bar codes, we had a nice conversation about her mother who makes red wine from her own vines and mixes in other fruit she grows, and how much fun the family has, making and sharing the wine with friends and family. Even the cashier pitched in, expressing her regret that so many people have no idea where their food comes from. On a grey and cool day, the sun came out in Wilcos!
