A 40 year old Tom Caxton bitter kit - I'm tempted to buy it and see what happens! At least when people ask if a kit will be ok a year out of date, I can say yes a 40 year old can is :lol:

This is a good buy for the serious Hber. Its a historic item. Its a unknown product. You wouldnt brew it (though if its canned and you change the yeast, there should be no probs)
Its like that bloke who spent millions on a bottle of wine made in year 1600 somethink.
Would the wine still be drinkable?
Would it be any good?
Who knows, but are you going to open it to find out?

No, I wouldn't brew it but it would take pride of place in any bar I'd built. It's something to show your friends, not waste in the hope it's drinkable.
