Afternoon all.

Been wanting to make home wine for a while, so jumped into it around 11 days ago..

Decided to just use supermarket juices to begin with, so for my first attempt i plumped for Orange Juice.

once id made it all up in a demi-john (2lts oj, 1/2kg sugar, wine yeast and enhancer) within an hour the mix was going ballistic, quite mezmerising to watch it was swirling and so forth.

for 3 days everytime i checked on it it was still fermenting alot, then on the fourth day it had really calmed down.

after 7 days it was only "bubbling" every 2 minutes or so, so i decided to add 1/2kg sugar water - boom within 5 mins iot was off rapidly fermenting.

after 10 days and its calmed down again (bubbling every two minutes).

not sure what really should be happening i decided to rack it off the 2" high pile of sediment on the bottom to a new demi-john.

its still bubbling away every two minutes

is this normal?
