Does anyone foresee a problem with using the thin 3/16 hose for a keg gas line?

I'd like to use it in my kegerator conversion because it's much more flexible than 3/8 which will help me a lot with routing in a confined space.

In theory the hose bore ought to only affect the flow rate but is there something I'm forgetting?

The extent of the pressure drop of the gas will depend on the length and flow you need - which I'm guessing will be quite short and low? If so there should be no issue with using 3/16 as opposed to 3/8. If higher flow rate is needed then you may just need to increase regulator pressure a bit.

You're right it'll be short. I'm guessing no more than 50cm and I usually carb and serve at less than 15psi.
