Forgot to mention I have worked out the fiesta has to be driven almost exactly a gear lower. I liked to red of the skoda that made it faster but the nasty pastel green on the fiesta will stop it getting stolen. I see the motorised mirrors going in and out when you lock and unlock the fiesta as something ready to go wrong and flatten the battery.

Have you noticed all the recent car adverts are all about the whizzy accessories they contain?
I have to say, as I get older & wiser, the simpler base models with less to go wrong appeal to me more & more.

Though I also guess broken/obsolete features can be used to beat down 2nd hand prices :)
