I agree with Chiefstoker!
I only use 1/2 tsp per litre and find this enough to give a fine bead.
You can still taste the CO2, but don't have many problems pouring from the bottle.

i have another one, bubblin away for 3 days, made from 4 litres of this

we have just started drinking this cider,
its had a few months to settle and its a really nice apple flavoured drink with a nice bite and a bit of a kick to it, :party: :party:

im looking at a 5 gall brew next.....

I have found (though this not cast in tablets of stone) that the more you mature in bulk, the better the result is.
So yes, go for 5 gals or more!
