Vossy, what size thread did you ask for for your element shrouds?

I didn't....I sent Bru4u one of my Backer elements and he did the rest, and the shiny shroud was born

A locknut wouldn 't help prevent overspills from my kettle from touching the element

That's why the shrouds are the length they are :thumb:

Hi Ryan, are you sure it aint 40 x 1.6mm thread, 1.5" is very odd and the BSP thread is huge. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, I've not been on line in ages, moving workshops and was prep'ing the new one, I've got about 8 pages of new post to read.
