Does anyone have any experience with this company's yeast they have a good selection and good prices but can't find any information about them

Thanks

Good to hear. I've ordered mead and cider yeast from them, if they are good then 7.50 for ten packs is a great price for the future especially be interested in seeing how the mead yeast performs

Came across these yeasts on eBay and I'm just wondering if anyone has tried them yet?

At those prices it would be interesting to hear how the US Pale and Real Ale yeasts compare to other dried yeasts in terms of flavour and flocculation.

I've not used them myself but I understand they are repackaged from bulk packages.

The guy runs a pilot brewery that brews small batches to other bands. It sounds like they sell off the left overs through ebay.

As I understand it the yeast isn't in specialised packing so there is a small chance of contamination but the price seems good.

I'm sure others will have tried it.

Sounds like a decent company, not used them yet myself. I think I'll give their yeasts ago after I've used up my current stocks.
Thanks

Ordered hops and carbonation drops from them yesterday and got a nice email from Steven saying they were posted this morning. Really happy with the service so far. I assume they must have an industrial unit somewhere, not open to the public, as I live in Glasgow and neither myself or my friends have ever heard of the brewery.

They don't brew their own brands, but are contract brewers. I also believe they're based in a 3rd party brewery in the Glasgow area and only call themselves Crossmyloof as a brewing supplies selling entity. ;)

Wonder if they are the guys making the ultra cheap house lagers for some local pubs. And by cheap I mean shockingly cheap! My hops and carb drops arrived today, well packaged and prompt so I'm really happy with the service and probably use them again for hops and drops. I do like my brand name yeast however.

Throw the Carb Drops away...youll thank me later
Your Welcome.

I bought some of the US Pale yeast. So do we reckon this is repackaged US-05? I'm really impressed with how they go about their business.

I buy all my hops from them as I like to buy smaller amounts to try the hops.
And Tom is very quick at running to the PO to send them to you

Are they that bad? I bulk primed the first batch and it wasn't too much of a faff but liked the sound of these as they're for 500ml bottles, I won't need the bottling bucket and it appeals to my bone-idle nature ;-)

Don't think so because Steve is on another forum and mentioned buying in US-05 in bulk and selling packets if people were interested.
