    Right so i was reading this post about fermenting, the person put air into his or her wort??? but i thought oxygen in the wort was a bad thing, but they went on to say that if helps the yeast ferment quicker so now im abit confused?? help lol

    So how long can i get away with leaving the home brew in the FV as iv got one in the keg now so my FV is empty i would love another keg but can not afford another one yet so was wanting to have anothe one fermenting could you get away with say one or two months in the FV or is this just to long??

    oh happy days its in the keg, so im leaving it in the keg for around 2 weeks im guessing, longer the better??? so now this is in the keg i have an empty fermenting barrel, so my question is how long can you leave the brew in the fermenting barrel before you have to transfer the brew to a keg???

    priming a keg

    Sorry for all the questions but being a newbie i like to ask people who know what they're on about, so im really close to transferring the brew to a plastic 5 gallon keg but im not sure how much priming sugar to put in the keg i think the keg can take around 14 - 15 psi thanks yet again for the help

    just a quick one when i transfer my brew to the presser keg can i just use a garden hose (will sterilize the pipe first) as iv got no other pipe as i have a tap on the bottom of my fermenting barrel so i plan to drain the brew to the keg from the tap using some pipe
