i got both of these in bottles today with about a level tea spook of sugar but when starting to brew the surfers reward i added an extra 500g of brewing sugar the cornish ale is at about 4.5% and the surfers reward at about 4.8% so now going to leave at first taste the surfers tasted a bit...

i did the nelsons revenge from these about 2 months ago and im afraid to say mines all gone made 36 pints left it in pressure barrel for a week and couldn't resist 1 after another so my advice would be get another one started like streat away

i got one of these about 12 years ago from a load of my locals when i ran a pub never used it untill last week for drinking my own beer that i made and i think it tastes better then from a glass :cheers:

if your gonna do this one be carefull af adding more sugar i make my own sauce for ice cream toppings and they ave a kelo os sugar to a ltr of water but could be amazing :rofl:
im very new to this have done a couple of kits and wine kits so thought id do a vimto wow have made up the mix made 4g as the misses will like it and my first reading was 1082 is that good or too mush sugar ?????
guinness is a funny 1 because if its been sat in the line to long its vile also the bar person should pore 3/4 of a pint with the glass tilted at 90o left to stand untill settled then the leaver pushed backwards with the nozel just above the head to get the perfect pint with a nice 5mm head...
