    The traditional christmas cook

Now that looks tasty. We have had an Indian style approach to xmas ingredients such as pork madras turkey korma etc . The real revelation was sprout bhajis, we pigged out on them as a starter and had to leave the main meal for a few hours

    stopped smoking

I hit the E cigs back in Dec 2011. On my second model now, it's very.much like brewing  Experimenting with Glycerol/Glycol ratios, trying different flavours etc. Many friends using as well and none of us tempted by the analogue fags ........

Worst book you ever read (or tried to)

I would add Lord of the Rings! Interminable badly written with a trite story.

    electronic cigarettes

I have been using a Titan Tank 510 for 15 months and much prefer it to real cigs. Also found myself preferring the sweet flavours over tobacco. Getting into mixing my own. It is much cheaper to buy the high nicotine juice and then water it down to an appropriate strength using glycol and...

Best Live Band You Have Seen

I think he does under normal circumstances, but not usually on the fair days pay ones, must admit I was hoping he would and that the 70 + folk in my garden would all be singing along with it at the top of their voices  Wasn't to be, but he did provide a live recording of the gig which...

    What you reading?

I love my Kindle, it supplements my book collecting habit rather than replacing them! Go for the basic model, a one trick pony but boy has it got that trick down to perfection. I have a lot of word docs on my pc that I converted to be able to read on a Kindle. And er as ever reading loads of...

    Police call off search.

A few years ago there were rumours of a big cat about 2 miles from my house  One evening I was having a ciggy in the back street and thinking that if it was true then my house would be in easy range. At the precise moment of that thought a local feral moggie let out a noisy screech...

    Psychotropic beers

Hi Buzzing, PM sent re book Thats a very interesting brew you made, I must admit that I thought amanita muscaria was illegal and am surprised to discover that is not the case. I may have to give that a try as I have stumbled over the shrooms several times whilst walking the Cumbrian fells. The...

    1040 Bitter Lover

One of my closest friends lives and brews in Kuwait, I was "lucky" enough to sample her wares when visiting :thumb: Her method was to use an empty water cooler bottle with a condom on top to function as an airlock, I have pictures
