    How did it turn out Davesiv?? I made a few batches of this using reg. sugar, then tried it with brown sugar, then spray malt, then t&l golden syrup - to my palate, the brown sugar was the best (plenty of body, but not too sweet :cheers: )

    On the campden front, it depends on where you live; I'm in the northwest, but have never had any probs. But a friend of mine who's moved down south mentioned on the phone once that his brew's had started tasting "funny" - I told him to add half a C tab, and that sorted him out :thumb:

    Hi Folks, Long time watcher, first time poster! I've been homebrewing beer for quite a while using kits. Having starting off doing the fermenting bin then pressure barrell route, I now just ferment in my King Keg (top tap) and then leave it in there - it never lasts long enough to get any...
