    Hi all Brewed up 40 pints of gordie bitter been in the pressure barrel around 4 weeks do you reckon its ok to crack open

    Hi yes its just a kit my grandad gave me a big container with a lid and 2 pressure barrels I use Geordie bitter. I dont know what you mean by prime it?

    Does mild bitter have much fizz to it I only drink bitter and its seems very flat anyway?

    He lives a bout 30 miles away. Is it possible to switch the beer into a new container and remove the sediment and then put it back in the barrel all of it will b drunk easily in one night

    Oh right so if I did let air into it how long befor it goes flat? We were planning on drinking the lot in one night I cant drain it out the tap because its pressurized my plan is to put it in 5 l bottles next time so I dont have to crack a barrel open

    Hi all im new to brewing and ive learnt as much as i can off my grandad.
