    This is what I have so far, looking to put on a 5 liter Apple Wine brew. Should I be worried about the acid content of the grapefruit? (I intend to blend it). Will the mint be okay to use? I've heard somewhere that it disagrees with the yeast. But yeah, any tips before I get going...

    That was intentional, my brother told me about that. While both very new to this he prefers the intricate science of brewing, following recipes etc.. I love experimenting, like a Dr Frankenstein. Just checked on the brew, IT'S ALIVE!!!! :lol:

    5 Gallons once I topped it up. probably about 5 liters of gunge beforehand. Woah as in blow up? I really don't want that to happen lol. I've just checked on it now (midnight) and it's going nuts, very audible and reactive. Has been on for Approx 6hours lol.

    True, but I quite like the idea of the cider being cloudy from the apples. Hopefully the extra effort will make it taste better too :P
