    Lager advice - Please

    Most of the coopers kits will be fine that is sure and the cerveza is a fine start. you will have no challenges although I don't knwo where the nearest home brew place is in andover... if at all!

    it does seem to be pretty tough to make it sweet, but the fiery ginger beer recipe on here is pretty good.. it will get you wellied though.. brilliant!!

    rhubarb investigation ?

    6LB does seem like a lot of rhubarb? I only use 3 but the rhubarb flavour is definitely a little light.. it was very strong though and tended to make my eyes wobble!!

    I would always recommend your local Home brew Shop (LHBS) they need all the support you can get plus you can actually see what it is you are buying properly, can be very useful.. my local one is cheaper than the online places too!!

    Best bet get another brew on and see if it turns out the same, I have found that age has always helped to improve anything I have done...
