I have 2 bottles of Domaine La Croix Belle Grenache 1993 vintage in my possession unopened and was thinking about selling them.. As they are the first vintage the winery ever made i was wondering if selling them for £5 is an ill advised idea of are they worth something?

also does anyone know where to buy Manfredi Langhe D.O.C Dolcetto 2007 in the united kingdom?

thanks

If it were me I'd hang on to them. TBH if they really are only worth a fiver I'd drink them. If they are worth more...well I'd still drink them.

Value is very intangible, and will depend on how they've been kept etc.

I bought 1/2 doz bottles of mid-priced wine back in 2003. Forgot about them and opened one earlier this year. Simply wow. Did a check online and found they have inreased by 4x in value. But would I sell them? No way! I bought them to drink and there is a rare pleasure in drinking a £50-£60 (or more) bottle of wine that cost you £15 or less.

I can't find it listed anywhere so it at least has rarity value...
Most of that vinyard's wines seem to go for 6 to 9 quid for stuff 2002-2009
But 1993... If it's any good it might be worth a bit. If you have a proper wine shop handy, ask.
But really, why not just drink it?

Drink and enjoy the bargain.. it probably won't pay off the mortgage, I would just enjoy the bargain of brilliant wine I think!
