hi guys, im fairly new to homebrewing so i thought i would share my activities!
on the 6th i started a beaverdale kit chardonnay, and bottled it within 13 days!
i know it would of benefited from ageing but it tasted so utterley fantastic i gobbled the lot!
you accomplished guys on here may well have heaters etc for keeping your liquid around 20 degrees, but an a starter i had to improvise! i used my laptop charger block underneath the DJ, and put my fleece over it. the result was a constant 20.5 degrees day & night, as in my spare room it gets cold! the results were purely magnificent!
i set my second kit off last night, which was a young's concentrate kit, im nurturing it the same as the first so i will let you know how i get on!
in the meantime im off to buy some ingredients for my first TC!
