    Finally got round to bottling this brew up on Wednesday night! Now sat with 11 two litre and 1 one litre bottles sat on the kitchen side, will be moving them to the garage over the weekend. Tastes ok... there may have been about 3 pints left from bottling which got tasted! :whistle: Looking...

    Just checked SG now down at 1006! Not bad for 5 days brewing, moved from airing cupboard to kitchen. Dropped in a packet of beer finings says to leave it for a couple of days, gives me time to wash and sterilise the bottles before primimg and bottling. :) :) :)

    Just to update, tried to start again again but no movement. So it has finished at 1060. Waiting for it to clear (finings added). Yes it is sweet, but this was only ever intended as a base for sangria this coming summer. Another week on the side in the kitchen to clear and then bottle up me...

    First ever beer!

    Thought I'd share that I have started my first ever beer! I've done wine and turbo cider type stuff before, but went out and bought a 5 gallon fermenter with a kit during the week. Using Geordie Mild kit. OG 1038, now sat in the airing cupboard, waiting for the magic to start. :pray:
