    recomendations please..ipa/ bitter

Hi Gents, Any recommendations for a good bitter or nice IPA. I like a good taste over strength, no too heavy. Done John Bull IPA...was ok, want to try a two tin kit this time... Buy from Thriftyshopper as its round the corner. Cheers, Dave

Hi, As title says...probably of no interest to anyone but me... but.. Have to say...my first brew (kit - John Bull IPA), turned out ok, bit of a sugary taste and not much 'kick'.. Left for another week in bottle ..and.. My word. it pays to wait...transformed into 'ok' to 'great'. Patience...

    How many bubbles?

Hi All, Another (of my many) questions... On my 2nd brew, coppers lager, started Saturday, lid swelling on FV but have not seem any bubbling going on in airlock yet...should it go bubble bubble bubble and be noticable or will it just release slowly and maybe I am just missing them? Thanks, Dave.

    Coopers Lager

Great, thanks. I am planning on bottling instead of kegging....I am going to use Magners bottles, what are you using as I have heard scary stories of exploding bottles..also, how much sugar are you using at bottling stage, do you individually prime each bottle or do in one big hit? Any advice...
