primary fermentation....day 7

Hi,

My first home brew so loads to learn!!

I am on day 7 of my primary fermentation and have a question I hope you can help me with...

Will be bottling on Saturday (time is not on my side this week) but I opened my lid to have a look just now, there does not seem to be much yeasty stuff on the top...just looks like beer with a poor head...is this usual...I think I was expecting a big fluffy cloud of stuff!!!

It smells lovely though!

Is the SG constant? If it is the fermentation has finished and the "flat beer" looks is normal.
