I recently bought two 5 liter water bottles thinking "i will modify these babies to take an airlock and brew some wine from scratch" Problem is i cant find any recipes for making just 5 liters of wine.I have brewed many wines from kits and a few beers and ales,but never anything from scratch so...

Ive got a muntons kit "santas winter warmer" and i was wondering if anyone could tell me how it turned out for them.Also any tips or tweaks they used to get the most from this kit.

the first time i ever brewed it was muntons nut brown ale.as it was the first time i stuck to the instructions, it was a triumph a great feeling to be drinking something i had made.i have been hooked ever since.

i use VWP Cleanser to clean all my gear,but im wondering could i use something else. i have seen miltons maximum protection sterilising tablets on sale at asda for less than 2 quid. they contain 28 tablets and overall make up 140 ltrs and no need to rinse.im thinking if its fine for babies...

I would like to brew a dark ale kit (not decided which yet),and i would like to use black treacle.the question is do you use all treacle instead of sugar if so how much treacle equals how much sugar? or do you still use sugar and add treacle.
