Morning all.
Quick question. I’m getting a yeast starter on today for an Oktoberfest brew tomorrow. The fermentation temperature for the brew is recommended around 11C. Do I need to make my starter at the same temperature?

Used it recently on an IPA that Brewfather said needed 3 packs. Used two and as said in the ’Italian Job’, it ‘blew the bloody doors off’. Go with one I’d say.

Clearly you want to sell as a complete kit (and at £250 looks a bargain) but if it comes to selling individual items, I’d be interested in the chiller. I’m just down the M65 in Preston.

I use a 3 vessel set up without a HERMs or RIMs option.
I can’t recirculate during the mash at risk of losing temperature but would there be any benefit (or negatives) in recirculating for a short time after the mash has completed?
