Not washing out the bin - and not using fresh yeast?

When I make cider I reuse the yeast 3 or 4 times by washing it after each brew and leaving it to settle out in a jar in the fridge. If you use it too many times you will start to get off flavours and smells.

So what else do home brewers do?

stupid autocorrect I meant nes and snes games. My set up isn't advanced enough to need a raspberry pi or brewpi as they are known. Although I am also learning to program using python so I may use it for temperature monitoring. I also make cider and wine and my wife loves making hot...

I like to mess with my raspberry pi. I've got retropie running on one- full of arcade games and he's and she's games as well as programming stuff for Halloween and Christmas. I also play electric guitar.

    Milestone Dark galleon.

I've just finished a batch of this. Bottled the lot and after 2 weeks right through to a 3 month old bottle they all tasted similar to Hobgoblin. I will definitely be brewing this again!

    Why choose a beer kit

For me it's space. I've looked at all grain many times and I would love a raspberry pi controlled setup but just don't have the space for all of the kit. The space I could have used is now taken up by a hot tub. Baring in mind I can have 40 pints brewed, kegged and ready to drink in 10 to 14...

    First TC advice please

When I keg bottle or bag it is never clear but after a week or so it clears. It clears quicker if chilled.

    First TC advice please

No I don't add anything exempt the 100 grams of caster sugar. If I bottle then I prime with half a teaspoon of sugar. But if I do a bag I a box then I don't prime making it a still cider.

    Newbie here

Just seams to have nailed it. In addition I have a brew belt to keep constant temperature. And a couple of milk crates for all the bottles as well as 3 kegs plus tap and cap spares and an extra fermenter and 3 X 5 litre bag in box for doing wine and cider.

    First TC advice please

I always make turbo cider. But I have never used pectoral or nutrient. Just get 4 litres of juice 100 grams of sugar and chuck so easy cider yeast in and then once it's fermented and cleared either bottle or bag it and leave for a couple weeks.
