    Pinter cask and future

To be honest I think the Pinter folk have gone mad with there new offering, in some cases it costs £200 just for the machine! The new presses are around £17 or £15 if you subscribe. There are numerous tales online of the advertised abv being totally unachievable. I've also tried some of the beer...

    PINTER beer system

Why do any of us Homebrew at all? I didn’t before I had a Pinter, it was my gateway to AG, now I do both because it’s more fun than just cracking open a bottle or a can.

...the supermarket and buy decent beer? Take two of my go to beers below at 4 for £6 in the supermarket could i make better at that price with the Pinter? Please note i am not trying to knock the Pinter its looks like a decent bit of kit its just a shame the kits for it are not a bit...

    PINTER beer system

Stripey have made some great Pinter brews managing the cold side appropriately. I love all things brewing doing AG as well. For me the Pinter allows me to fit in brewing around a very busy schedule. I am trading money for time and convenience, much like traditional extract brewers do versus AG...

Obligatory I don't know what to write introduction post

...Come to the conclusion In prison or survival situation nobody rapes the bloke who can create hooch so got back into it. Recently picked up a Pinter 2 on Facebook that was £35 and being a bit of a magpie for gadgets it was a no brainer. Very impressed with the end result, not so impressed...

    PINTER beer system

Have used a Pinter 1 for a year and enjoyed some great beers. Has led me to learn more and also brew AG. Purchased a Pinter 2 and the improvement are impressive. Stays carbonated throughout, no releasing CO2 to dispense, hop oils and far superior build quality. Very happy I purchased one. Allows...

    PINTER beer system

Some to save money. Some to make better beer than they can buy. Some both. If the Pinter made decent beer at 50p a pint i would get it but you are not making beer any more than i am making my own wine when i make a kit i get AG you are "making" the beer how you want it to taste but with this...

    PINTER beer system

...have it in a barrel or something. The first brew was over carbonated and it didn't pop, so i'm hoping the welding on mine doesn't have a weakness. The first ones were plastic i believe and the welds would buckle under the pressure, pinter 2 i think are powder coated aluminium so fingers crossed

    PINTER beer system

...The stout, Weiss beer and space hopped are the best beers I have produced with this item. I agree for the cost (especially the cost of pinter 2) you can buy a large amount of equipment and brew traditionally. Either way I do not regret the purchase. I will be brewing small batch of all grain...

    Pinter cask and future

It’s looks Like they have changed the design. New fermenter. From what I can gather it’s not compatible with the original dock which has upset some original Pinter owners. Also are they trying to get people to sign up to a subscription model?

    PINTER beer system

I know a few people who have the Pinter system, although I don't have one myself. My cousin struggles to get a decent beer from it. The other 3 people really like it, they use both the Pinter mixes and homebrew kits, splitting the extract 3 ways.

    Pinter

Could you scale up a kit and split it between the pinter and your standard fermenting method?

    PINTER beer system

So, I am trying to get my head around this... Can the Pinter effectively be used in the same way as a fermzilla all-rounder, in that you pour wort, pitch your yeast and then let it ferment under pressure? Could you then either lager in a secondary or pour straight from the unit? And am I...

How many litres of home brew have you made 2021.

3 lots of Pinter, 18l 1 Mangrove Jack Brut IPA, 23l 1 GEB Pimped Up APA, 23l total 13,445 litres
  19. stripeyjoe

What are you drinking tonight 2021?

mangrove jack Brut IPA, bit hazy with a touch of yeasty twang but not bad for my first go at brewing outside of the Pinter.
