    Pinters with own wort

10 pint extract kits, would be handy if they were coming soon as they would fit perfectly in a Pinter 🤫😉

Don't know but squirted with starsan before screwing in.

    Pinter for all grain…

...3. Add hops to sock and tuck inside the dock, under the lip 4. Reattach dock and stand back on end 5. After e.g. 2 days carefully turn the pinter and dock over so the dock is on top, to let the liquid drain back into the pinter 6. Remove dock and hope the sock is still tucked inside...

    Pinter for all grain…

    Pinters with own wort

Or brew a slightly larger than normal Corny keg amount and fill the Pinter with the excess as well as the FV. Saves on bottling the extra excess

MiniBrew Smart Beer Machine? Anyone has experience with it?

Apologies Chippy, only just seen this. Sort of, did some homebrew wine from scratch years ago, then spotted the Pinter recently, which I used while the Minibrew was 'delayed'. So impressed with the Pinter output was really pleased when the Minibrew finally turned up. I was hoping to achieve 'all...

    Pinter for all grain…

Don't forget you also need a blow off valve. Spunding valves can fail or become clogged and if that happens you have a small bomb on your hands. I assume the Pinter has a secondary emergency blow off valve.

    Hello from Ireland

...don't need to say too much more about that. Fantastic city for cask pints, at least back in early 2010s. I have been gifted a pair of Pinters and am going to start brewing their Ancestor Ale (bitter) soon. I've seen mixed reviews online, particularly from these types of forums. However, I...

And sounds like a good way to oxidize your beer 🤔

    Pinter for all grain…

I've been using mine regularly, put 5 litres of wort in the Pinter and the rest in my normal fermenter. Pinter results are excellent, grain to glass in a week. Don't put the hops in loose like I did last time, even though I cold crashed they still blocked the tap.

    Pinter for all grain…

Also, when you reattach doc the Pinter is under pressure. When you abruptly repressurise dock it can break a lug and forcibly detach. As I found out trying to do a dry hop. Get a 10l cornie, a floating dip tube and a spunding valve. You can depressurise, chuck in hops and purge.

    Pinter for all grain…

The problem is you are going to introduce a load of Oxygen when you reattach the doc, you will hear it bubble through the beer and it will make you cry!

    What Extract kit

Hi all, Jon - new here and fairly new to home brew. I have been using the pinter and after a handful of their offerings moved over to 40 pint extract kits with great success. That said I am yet to find the perfect kit! Can anyone recommend an extract kit that resembles my favourite pint proper...

    Braumeister 500 litre.

This could well be the future. Brewery sells you a container with wort in. Add yeast, leave for 3 weeks, serve in something like a pinter https://pinter.co.uk/ As you said, no duty. Arguably, we wouldn’t pay sugar tax either as that’s refined sugar.

    What did you brew today?

Pinter small batch experiment Just brewed a 6ltr batch of an all grain DIPA. With Galaxy , mosaic & Nectaron . Used the WHC mango madness yeast & 15gm mix of these hops chucked in as a dry hop addition. Looking for an abv of 7.5 % ?? If it works will share recipe if it fails will share...

What are you drinking tonight 2024.

Homebrew 'session' ipa. Fermented and conditioned in the Pinter! system. Pale, amber, ekg, windsor. 1041-1012, 3.8%. Bu:gu = 0.83, ibu 34. Only 33 days conditioned. Pinter seemed to spring a leak, hence tapping earlier than wanted. Think it was a result of Windsor re-fermenting in keg/bottle...

    What did you brew today?

...or combinations of said malts and EKG and Windsor yeast. The 2 bottled beers (mild and notso double brown stout) are gushers. A 'Bitter' in the Pinter is about ready to tap when I have an occasion and the 'session ipa' also in a Pinter will come off yeast and start conditioning today or...
