    Counterflow chillers?

Sorry for the slow reply, about 20 mins to get about 24 litres in the fermenter. The only other issue I've encountered and not seen mentioned so far is keeping the thing clean. After a couple of weeks the exterior of the copper will dull and start turning green/blue in places I presume this...

    Counterflow chillers?

I made one of these a couple of months ago with all of the bits from Wickes. http://www.thehomebrewforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=53720 Tbh it all depends on the temp of your water going in thru the cooler. During the Summer I got a brew on which required 2 passes thru the chiller to get to...

    Wanted: Cheap Grain Mill

I take it the grain mill mentioned which has manufacturing issues is the same in the following YouTube video http://youtu.be/71TJqeP0o1M Looks like a lot of faffing round with the potential to have metal shavings in your grain. Regards Paul

    Wanted: Cheap Grain Mill

Thanks for the quick replies, will check out the one linked above if nothing comes along. After a bit of googling I found this http://www.the-home-brew-shop.co.uk/acatalog/The-Roller-Mill.html#.VbgC13CkqrU Which is half the price of a similar mill in my LHBS. Regards Paul

    Biab dead space

TBH, I searched the Internet in vain to find an answer and watched the Beersmith setup profiles on YouTube to fine tune the setup. Maybe I touched lucky, but after a 90 minute boil and allowing for Trub (hops) at the bottom of the boiler I have 23 litres. If brewers friend doesn't work...
