Thanks for the reply!
Now need to fart out with my water, went to spotless water to pick up some RO water, I use camping water carriers, handle snapped, SPLOSH! Picked up a couple of bottles of ashbeck from Tesco to top it up by 6 or so litres 😭
Ok giving your recipe a whirl tomorrow Kye, did you end up using 2 packs of verdant in the end? Have to say I missed the comments when ordering on Malt Miller.
But cheers for sharing in advance.
The 10L keg was £30, smaller kegs start from about £50, ideally I'd have got a 6.5L which would be £75, I definitely agree they're not necessarily cost effective, but I wanted a portable keg for social occasions and the PET will (hopefully) ensure its lighter/easier to move about.
I do all my brewing in a Keter storage unit, something like this in theory would have been a great solution, ended up with a plastic collapsible box, a bin liner and a cooling coil running from my glycol chiller instead 😄
"NOTE: Product supplied is silver opaque PET material rather than clear, this will help to protect your beer stored inside from light strike."
At the bottom of the malt miller 10L fermenter, so think Brew_DD2 may be correct, it's a bit misleading/confusing.
Apologies that this isn't directly relevant to the usage of this, but had noticed that most of the big home brew companies are promoting these Stills, as far as I'm aware, distilling is illegal (without a license) so curious why there's a push on these, unless I'm missing the obvious.
It's been an age since they were looking to IPO, they sent out a share portal over a year ago to view your shares with all of the shares showing as £0.01 (not suggesting this is their actual value) but Comms have been minimal, I've accepted it's a glorified membership club and didn't put in an...
Very interesting point on the profit share scheme, was curious how they'd get away with minimising the cost on that.
With regards to the share scheme, as above I was stupid enough to put money into their equity for punks scheme, in roughly 3 years they're now worth less than 40% of their...
Touche! There's just something in me that begrudges paying £80 for the 6.5 litre keg (which is don't really need, but handy to bring to friends etc) when you can get larger refurbished kegs for £40-50 😂
Confession to make - I bought some of their "shares" doing zero due diligence, have accepted it's now just a payment for being part of their storyline and keep an eye out on what their newest scandal is.
Off of the back of this thread I had a quick check and have seen that James Watt has shared...
