So you know there were no discourse between Keg King and Bevie then?
Foxy I am only looking at it from the End user angle not the B2B.
I only know what I know from initially contacting KK, and they were elusive in there reply ,stating an announcement was coming soon,
months later Bevie were announced as UK distributors.
After that announcement there was nothing appearing anywhere in the UK ,I wrote to Bevie only to be told they had never heard of KK and would not be distributing their goods.
Only for several more months later for the stuff to finally appear in the UK.

Just got the email, tempted to get that 10 litre keg, but can't stomach brew2bottles delivery fee 😂
Ok it's being delivered today, having read some of the above, hopefully won't be complaining about anything soon.

Let’s be frank, they’re a bit poop anyway. Access is more restricted than Keglands offerings, the trub bottle has an aperture of a coke bottle and spare parts don’t exist here.

Shame as competition is needed.

I had clocked they were sold out, so glad I wasn't overly indecisive.

Definitely struggle to comprehend there's only 20 in total 😂

I'll try and post here once I've used it, tell you to steer clear if it's not up to much.

"NOTE: Product supplied is silver opaque PET material rather than clear, this will help to protect your beer stored inside from light strike."

At the bottom of the malt miller 10L fermenter, so think Brew_DD2 may be correct, it's a bit misleading/confusing.

Although spare parts is availability will probably depend on volume vs weight !
When I was looking for a replacement tank for kegland fermzilla 27 there weren't any available from UK retailers ! (I know there are a few available now) but not when I was looking for one.
I suspect it will be the same with the keg King Apollo range.
Obviously replacement tanks will take up almost as much cargo space as a complete new unit !
Unless these Australian companies can get parts manufactured under licence locally more to the consumers countrys it will affect cost of replacement of larger parts due to shipping costs.
In an ideal world they would be manufacturing in US and and Europe as well as at home in Australia, it would make the carbon footprint much smaller !
Well the onus is on the importer who stock and sell goods without spare parts back up over here, can find themselves at the mercy of ACCC. I would have thought it was the same over there.
Commercial kegs are getting made under license in the Czech Republic (or whatever it is they call themselves now) and have been for quite some time. The PET fermenters are a more specialised item, so can't see those getting made elsewhere at the moment.

Bevie hadn't got a clue, this I believe is the first time they have become a wholesaler of products from a third party. A business can't remain static, they have to find other ways of increasing their income or end up without growth. They seem to have got their act together now so hopefully things will improve For saying they were just a small home brew shop in NZ they have come a long way. I'm surprised they haven't got into the fresh wort kit market, it's huge overhere.

It’s clearly not the “first time they have become a wholesaler of products from a third party”
As I said "I believe it isn't" and it seems the first time to go into something unfamiliar than what they are producing them selves. Also taking the trouble to import the goods from overseas instead of local produce.
