    Conical fermenters

So Im starting to look around at conical fermenters. There are a few companies that make them, but the 2 that seem to stand out is Blichmann and SS Brewtech. Does anyone have any thoughts on one vs the other? A bit of a confession first...I currently brew kits at this point, but the larger ones...

Sales of inefficient vacuum cleaners banned

Or conversely, the economy collapses because one that is based totally on consumption ultimately leaves nothing...but I guess the "big" people would then become smaller as excesses would become void. If we dont change our expectations and move towards a common middle.....well...I dont think it...

    Coopers Lager Bundle Kit

I did this kit a couple months ago, but I cant buy the brew enhancers here, so just bought a second can of the malt. Not bad at all, but it looked a little darker than most lagers (store bought) than I normally can get here in Canada.

    Garden incinerator bins

They are outlawed in my neck of the woods now. Back in the day everybody had one. Now due to air quality control...fire hazzard...global warming blah blah blah nada. I really miss them actually.

    RIP Jerry Lewis

I found his acting awful and thought him a bit of a plank actually. But he did raise a great deal of money for MD over the years and can respect that on any level.

    hop additions

So I have a few kit brews under my belt (Coopers) and think I need to try adding some hops to play with the flavours a bit. I generally brew stout and the dark ale from Coopers and am wondering what type of hops I might try that would enhance the beer. I think I will look at the hop tea or...
