Supermarkets recall frozen vegetables over listeria fears.

Which bit are you saying is the fake news? The recall or people dying?

    Ok thanks, will do

    Deep Clean after Year off

Sounds like not a bad routine there, the boss won’t let me use the bath but I’ve got a giant water butt (clean, kept inside garage) that will do the same job. Thanks

    Deep Clean after Year off

New and shiny I wish, not for a while. Looks like soak and elbow grease it is! Thanks

    Deep Clean after Year off

Hi all, As the title suggests I finally have my space up and running so will be putting a few brews on ASAP. However some of the kit has been in storage for a while and doesn’t look in the best of condition. What is the best way to return it back to “like new”? Links to products to use would be...

They should upload the footage of the planning meeting for that name.... they’ve got to have been hammered

    New all grain brewing kits

Don’t get me wrong, I wasn’t saying it’s not all about the hops. But some subtlety in the kits isn’t a bad thing instead of the extreme dry-hopping that only produces one dimension.

    New all grain brewing kits

I know you are from the hop farm but some kits that aren’t just complete hop bombs would be good.

    The covers are off.

Can’t stand tennis. Then again I’m a cricket fan so when you said the covers were off I wondered where it had been raining!

    Fires on Winter Hill

They’ve caught footage in the helicopter of other idiots trying to set more fires close to it. I really don’t understand these people...

    Its too hot!

I work with kids with severe learning difficulties, many of which have severe epilepsy so heat is really not good. Whilst I like it hot work is really hard work at this time of year, Air con and fans can never do enough for that situation

    Wine cooler for fermentation.

There is a discount code somewhere on the forum for inkbirds I think. Otherwise I used Amazon

    Wine cooler for fermentation.

I would buy an Inkbird, they’re as easy as it comes to set up and I’ve got (like a lot of guys on here) a greenhouse heater inside a fridge with both plugged in to it. That way the most tinkering you have to do is stick a plug on the greenhouse heater. Would that set up work with the cooler?

    We really are ****.

Roads melting, train tracks buckling, gritters being used to spread top layers of road surface, trains having to go slower. I really don’t understand how countries that are hot for longer periods of time don’t have to do all this and their trains even run on time!

    Hop matter in fermenter.

What they said above. Good luck!

    Hop matter in fermenter.

Which yeast are you using? As some can tolerate it but most can’t for prolonged periods of time. Are you using any temperature control for your fermenter? A little bit of debris won’t make a difference and will settle out, a lot of hop will make it grassy but it also depends when you put them...

Does anyone brew in this heat

The hotter the better. I bloody hate the cold.

    Non alcoholic beer?

Could you do a grain steep, hop tea and then force carbonate (if you have the equipment)? Edit: I have no idea what that would result in......
