You can - gas (on the hob) but then moving onto an induction heater. These things work really well with induction.

I use the 3.15kg bottles, for which it's a £55 deposit and then I think just under £20 inc. VAT for a refill. Today I was dropping off only so it's not so fresh in the memory! Bigger bottle bigger deposit but check the Adams Gas website and it should be the same as on there.
