This will be a slow thread, (and I hope this is the right location for it), but wanted to capture my shed build and the journey to making it into a basic brewshed for myself and a nice place to drink beer.

Step one was to dig the foundations in my existing shed, but sadly we found there were none. Leaning walls and other joys meant it was better to pull it down and start again, which also meant we could move it.

Original shed was 6m by 4m.

One last look inside before it came down...

Next step was to pull it down...

Then we realised that the old location was the sunniest part of the garden, so we are moving it to the dirt patch to the right instead -

Will now be 4.5m by 4.5m with a small 'external' shed area on the side for bikes etc. Decking on the wooden frame to the left.

Nothing more to post right now. Waiting for time and funds and friends to start the rest.

In the mean time, highly recommended these for pizza ;)

I will watch this with interest and some jealousy... That pizza thing does look cool too.

Pizza oven is excellent - some bargains out there from aroud £180 delivered - though there are a few little bits that make it better (the pizza peel, more woodchips, the cast iron pan plus the cover/carrier) about £250 - still well under half the price of brick. And no build time!
I wanted a 'proper' brick oven, but I lack the space really, and they take 2 hours to heat up. This takes about 10mins - I did a spontaneous pizza on Sunday and was on the table in no time.

All pretty loose currently how it will turn out, other than it will be wooden, and 4.5m but 4.5m and will have a sink with hot and cold water and be connected to the house for central heating too

This needs to be my office and playroom for the kids (and me) also, so all the brewing and pub stuff can't be too in your face. Some ideas from my Pinterest below - I need to sketch out how it will all fit in as previous plans were all for the old size and shape. I'm also pouring over other threads here to see what they have build or done. Hoping the shed is in place by the end of the summer, no idea how long the internals will take to do. Hope before it gets too cold! If it is functional by mid to end summer I'll be happy

Planning on having:

Kegerator with at least one gas powered keg (room for three?) - prob go 5l kegs
Space for cooled (in Kegerator?) dark beer that will be on the handpull
Bottle fridge for my beer and the wife's (not home brewed) wine
Bar area - for mixing and serving drinks - but not a stand behind bar sadly
Chest freezer as we don't have space indoors
Bar fun (a mame arcade, dart board and fold away pool table and table tennis top to go on top of it)
Big desk for working and very occasionally making stuff on
Move my projector and screen in there
Speakers/amp etc
Sofa
Some stools

Suddenly seems a lot to fit in!

So the freezer I got luckily just fits two kegs as planned. Also will have a single polypin fro handpull and a few bottles in there.

Shed is now progressing well, but weather and other jobs means it isn't as far as I'd hoped. But give it time!

Projection screen set up - had to test that out! Not as bright as I'd hoped, but was cheap and will give me another reason to invite people over to enjoy the beer shed ;)

No longer having a beer fridge - enough room in the keezer for a few beers

Here's the Genesis of my brew shed/bar. A discarded conservatory that I was given some years ago. Well, it's taken some time, but it's built and roofed now, just the glass to go in. Then tidy some of the crap out and fit a counter top (2.5m of granite left over from kitchen) and shelving then electrics and lighting. Maybe ready before summer???!!!

Looking forward to seeing it - hoping mine is finished in a similar time frame.

I have one of these already. Amazing. Ive got my engineering workshop in their. My decks. And my brewery. Love a bit of engineering and having a mix
