I think that's a great idea. I don't brew according to the comp schedule but always have something ready to send.

They're good guys at CML, I had a brew planned until I realised i forgot to buy yeast! Nipped on eBay to order some and mentioned what had happened and if they could send it out sharpish I'd really appreciate it. Less than 2 hours later it was hand delivered to my door!

Aldi has it sometimes, other than that I've seen it in my local bottle shop.

Honest, I don't work for Tempest but their Farmhouse Saison is excellent, much better than the M&S one :)

Get it in Aldi's by any chance? If so pick up Tempest New World next time you're in, it's a belter of an IPA :thumb:

I really like the standard Joker, it's a good dependable supermarket IPA, but I found the double way to sweet and cloying. It badly needs an injection of hop bitterness to balance it out I think.

Middle for me is 15 mins and end is 0 mins, be nice to have a bit more detail though.

27 quid is OK I think. I was happy to pay 20 for the Mikeller book and that has a fraction of the recipes.

I'd get it if they gave some proper hop timings with it!

Yeah, shoulda said, I crash it down to -1 before using gelatin, usually clear within 24-48 hours.

Not really sure! I do 15l brews and I use the sheets from M&S, about 1.5 dissolved in hot water seems to do the trick :)

I've used gelatin in my last few brews and it's worked a treat. I only use bottles and I've had no issue with sediment, in fact there's hardly any and it carbs up as normal.

If you post the AA of the hops you're buying then someone here can help you with any quantity adjustments that are needed :)
