Milk stout

At what stage would you recommend adding lactose into the boil for a milk stout?

Usually the last 10 mins isn't it? Worked for me anyway :)

I wouldn't have thought it's make much difference, to be honest.

Have done two Mackeson brews and added at 10 mins from end.However i think even adding it at the end wouldn't make a scrap of difference.

I add my lactose either 10 or 15 mins until the end, or sometimes at the beginning of the boil. With lactose it doesn't make a difference when you add it, as long as it's in the boil for at least 10 mins so it can be sterilised.
