What are you drinking tonight 2024.

Not had that but an excellent brewery!
  2. micklupulo

What are you drinking tonight 2024.

One of my last souvenirs from Scotland.
  3. micklupulo

What are you drinking tonight 2024.

Starting with this which is probably a mistake since at 6.5% and flavourful anything else now will taste like water and that's the polite version!

What are you drinking tonight 2024.

This is from Aldi and is one of the two Williams bros beers readily available in the West Midlands though maybe there are more nearer the Scottish border. Not bad at all but for my taste their West Coast IPA is better but it would be at 5.6%!

Oh no I now remember having that some years ago and saw it in the Glasgow supermarket but it didn't click so I have missed out!
  6. micklupulo

What are you drinking tonight 2024.

If one has to be AF for a day or two this is probably unbeatable.
  7. micklupulo

What are you drinking tonight 2024.

Dizzy Blonde at the Royal Oak Garstang though I stress that I am with a redhead!
  8. micklupulo

What are you drinking tonight 2024.

Thwaites IPA at the Crown Garstang at £3.50 a pint!

What are you drinking tonight 2024.

In Glasgow so had to pick up of these. It's cold here but the upside is that I have not had to make myself unpopular by taking up fridge space as a couple of hours on the doorstep has chilled this more than enough!

What are you drinking tonight 2024.

In Glasgow visiting daughter and family so having to behave in front of grandsons. This is a sneaky Lidl Hatherwoods IPA and very similar to Shipyard but cheaper!

What are you drinking tonight 2024.

This is good. Not too sweet not too dry and satisfyingly thick without being cloying.
  12. micklupulo

What are you drinking tonight 2024.

Yes but more likely to be found nearer its origin. The initials stand for Hereford Pale Ale and quite a few on here have done AG clones.

What are you drinking tonight 2024.

You may well have had it but Wye Valley HPA is good. Not sure if the bottles are still bottle conditioned but the draught is lovely when on form.

What are you drinking tonight 2024.

Ok thanks I seem to be the only one!
  15. micklupulo

What are you drinking tonight 2024.

At the Royal Hotel Heysham on a half way stop off to Glasgow. Just had an excellent meal preceded by a couple of pints of Thwaites IPA which was equally good. I think this brewery deserves more acclaim!
  16. micklupulo

What are you drinking tonight 2024.

This has those earthy US hops whatever they are!
  17. micklupulo

What are you drinking tonight 2024.

    Another Northern one.
  18. micklupulo

What are you drinking tonight 2024.

Yes . Their Joker IPA is superb but I have never seen it south of Cumbria. I am going to Glasgow next week and will pick up a few!
