    Bottling from Keg, tap gunky....

As Dave says, cleaning the tap would be fine with a spray bottle, the tap is closed so won't affect your brew. Now the secondary fermentation is done, you would have to do something really silly to ruin the beer now, it's out of its most vulnerable stage. Good luck! :thumb:

    Coopers, English Bitter

I put this on a couple of weeks ago, had a week in the warm to do its job then placed in cool for a week. Took a gravity reading and its only at 1.020 so moved back into the warm and gave a stir, hopefully it'll kick off again to get it lower. I brewed with a kilo of spray malt and used safale...

I don't see why it would. Alcohol causes hangovers, not the gas it is dispensed with...

    Making a 'creamy' beer

The system you are talking about is simply a nitrogen mixed gas, the same which we can use in corny kegs. Pubs don't use any special system to generate the creamy taste other than nitrogen.

    Try Again

The only thing I would do is sparge the grains in a separate bowl just in case you need it. But that's just my personal preference, it'll allow you to be better prepared just in case.

    Try Again

What's your estimated brew length? Good luck with it, hope it all goes smoothly.

    malt help!

You can use a rolling pin, use a zip lock bag and crush in parts. It'll be tough but can be done. It could go one or two ways, don't crush enough and your efficiency suffers. However you crush it too much and you'll have issues with Tannins. Good luck!

    AG#2 - Kendal Which? Bitter

One sachet would have been enough to be fair. It won't harm anything putting two in, just a waste. I'd be surprised if it was down to insufficient finings in your first AG which resulted in cloudy beer, half of a tablet is usually enough for a 23l brew. You never know though, it may turn out...

    How long in fv

Three weeks is fine in FV, some even move to secondary for a week or two more. I can't see it improving much more than it has, but it won't harm anything.

no sure if this is right

Sounds perfectly normal to me, sometimes temp variances can cause yeast to slow then kick up again. All will be good I'm sure!

    Banana beer?

I was thinking about banana beer, one of my fave beers is Whells Banana Bread. They say they use real bananas, rather than following the route of Belgian beers and using the right yeast and the right temp. Would it be possible to use banana chips in the latter part of the boil? Or throw some...

    Your most bizarre brew...?

Funny you should mention the chicken beer, I was reading the recipe in Ben Turner's book this morning, it's called Cock Ale and I was intrigued!

    First order placed with MM

Just placed the following order with Rob @ Malt Miller. I'm planning on brewing an Old Peculiar, TT Landlord and whatever else I can from what's left! Any ideas on another good brew from the below? I also have 100g of Cascade which I ordered previously. Maris Otter Pale Ale Malt Thomas Fawcett...
